Slot Glossary

37 terms covering Le Zeus's 19 paylines + Mystery Reveal hybrid, three bonus tiers (Bolt & Run / Myth-Taken / Gods), and the path to 20,000x.

Autoplay

Spin automatically for a chosen number of rounds. Useful stop conditions for Le Zeus: stop on Mystery symbol landing, stop on 3+ scatters (Bolt & Run entry), stop on big win threshold. The ~1 in 180 spins bonus rate means autoplay batches of 200-300 spins fit medium/high pacing.

Base Game

Standard play before bonus tiers activate. Le Zeus's base game runs across 19 fixed paylines on a 6x5 grid (unusual hybrid — line wins + cluster-style adjacency from Mystery Reveals). Medium/High volatility (4/5) keeps base game lively with ~26% hit frequency.

Bolt & Run Free Spins

Le Zeus's entry bonus tier. Triggered by 3 scatters (~75% of all bonus triggers) or Bonus Buy at 80x bet. 8 free spins where all Mystery symbols stay sticky on the grid. Minimum coin value starts at 1x and stacks up fast as more Mysteries land sticky. RTP 96.24%. Average return ~65x.

Bonus Buy (Feature Buy)

Skip the natural ~1-in-180 trigger and jump into a bonus tier. Le Zeus offers three buy tiers: Bolt & Run (80x, RTP 96.24%, avg ~65x return), Myth-Taken Identity (200x, RTP 96.30%, avg ~140x return), Gods Just Wanna Have Fun (500x, RTP 96.28%, avg ~280x return). UK and Sweden block Bonus Buy by regulation.

Cascading Reels (Tumble)

Le Zeus uses a cascade engine. After winning paylines resolve, symbols clear and new ones drop in. Paired with the Mystery Reveal mechanic, cascades can chain Mystery transformations across multiple sequential payouts on the same spin. Standard Hacksaw cascade behavior.

Cluster Pays

Le Zeus doesn't use cluster pays — uses 19 fixed paylines on a 6x5 grid. The hybrid is unusual within the Le series catalog (most Le titles use cluster pays). Le Zeus's 19-line structure rewards adjacency through Mystery Reveals without converting fully to clusters.

Coin Prizes

Le Zeus's Mystery Reveal payout structure. Mystery symbols transform into one of: Bronze coins (0.2x-1x), Silver coins, Gold coins (up to 100x), Diamonds (150x-500x), Clovers (x2-x20 multiplier), or Pots of Gold (collect everything visible). Most Mystery Reveals land bronze coins — diamonds are roughly 1 in 200 reveals.

Dead Spin

A spin returning nothing. Le Zeus's medium/high volatility (4/5) produces dead spins around 74% of the time at base game (hit frequency ~26%). Mystery symbols land on ~1 in 6 spins providing a soft engagement layer between bonus triggers — keeps base game more active than typical 4/5 vol releases.

Diamond Prize

Le Zeus's premium Mystery reveal coin tier. Carries 150x-500x stake values when revealed. Roughly 1 in 200 Mystery Reveals lands a Diamond. The 500x Diamond stack combined with Pot of Gold collector during Gods Just Wanna Have Fun bonus is the path to the 20,000x cap.

Feature Trigger Rate

Le Zeus's scatter trigger sits at ~1 in 180 spins. Distribution: 3 scatters → Bolt & Run (~75% of triggers). 4 scatters → Myth-Taken Identity (~22%). 5 scatters → Gods Just Wanna Have Fun (~3%, roughly 1 in 6,500 base spins natural rate). All three tiers can be bought at varying costs (80x/200x/500x).

Free Spins

Le Zeus's three bonus modes. Bolt & Run (3 scatters, 8 spins, sticky Mysteries). Myth-Taken Identity (4 scatters, 8 spins, Mystery Meter charges toward Reward Spin). Gods Just Wanna Have Fun (5 scatters, sticky Mysteries + 5x minimum coin floor + pre-loaded reels). Each tier escalates intensity rather than just spin count.

Gods Just Wanna Have Fun

Le Zeus's top-tier bonus mode. Triggered by 5 scatters during base play (extremely rare ~1 in 6,500) or Bonus Buy at 500x. Pre-fills reels 2-5 with Mystery symbols and sets minimum coin value to 5x. RTP 96.28%. Average return ~280x. The 20,000x cap is most reachable through this tier.

Hacksaw Gaming Le-Series

Le Zeus sits inside Hacksaw's Le-series catalog — alongside Le Bandit, Le Pharaoh, Le Cowboy, Le Santa, Le Viking, Le Fisherman. Le Zeus (2025) is the Greek mythology entry. Distinct from sister titles in using 19 paylines + Mystery Reveal instead of cluster pays — a structural deviation that sets it apart in the catalog.

Hit Frequency

Le Zeus's base game hit rate sits at ~26% — about 1 in 4 spins pays. Standard for medium/high-volatility Hacksaw releases. Mystery Reveals land more often than direct line wins, providing soft engagement even when pure paylines miss. Mystery Reveal frequency: ~1 in 6 spins.

Lightning Mechanic

Le Zeus's pre-spin multiplier drop. Sometimes random multipliers (clovers x2-x20) land on positions before the reels start spinning, then compound when symbols clear over them. Single bolt with x2 is common; clusters with stacked values are rare. Adds a layer of pre-spin variance distinct from pure RNG payline wins.

Max Win

Le Zeus's absolute cap is 20,000x stake. Path: Gods Just Wanna Have Fun bonus with 500x Diamond reveals combined with x20 Clover multipliers during the round, plus Pot of Gold collectors sweeping all visible values. Estimated probability ~1 in 4,500,000 spins.

Max Win Cap

Once Le Zeus hits 20,000x, the round ends immediately. The 20,000x cap is tied for highest in the Le series with Le Bandit. Le Cowboy reaches 25,000x; Le Santa and Le Pharaoh top at 15,000x. Le Zeus's position at the upper end of Le-series ceilings reflects the Mystery Reveal high-variance design.

Megaways

A Big Time Gaming licensed mechanic with up to 117,649 ways to win. Le Zeus doesn't use Megaways — uses 19 fixed paylines + Mystery Reveal hybrid. Hacksaw Gaming has Megaways-licensed titles in their catalog but the Le series stays with proprietary mechanics.

Multiplier

Le Zeus's multiplier sources: Clover Mystery reveals (x2-x20 random values, Lightning bolt drops), Mystery Meter Reward Spin during Myth-Taken Identity (variable), Gods bonus 5x minimum coin floor (effectively a global multiplier on Mystery values). Different from compound-wild multiplier slots — multipliers attach to specific coin reveals, not symbol substitutions.

Mystery Reveal Mechanic

Le Zeus's headline base-game mechanic. Mystery symbols land on reels 2-5 during any spin. They transform into prize symbols — bronze coins, silver coins, gold coins, diamonds, clovers, or Pots of Gold. Most reveals land bronze (0.2x-1x); diamonds are ~1 in 200 reveals. Mystery rate: ~1 in 6 base spins.

Myth-Taken Identity

Le Zeus's mid-tier bonus mode. Triggered by 4 scatters or Bonus Buy at 200x. 8 free spins with Mystery Meter — fill it with 25 Mystery symbols to unlock a Reward Spin that can flood the grid with prizes. RTP 96.30% (highest among Le Zeus's buy variants). Average return ~140x.

Paylines

Le Zeus runs on 19 fixed paylines on a 6x5 grid. The 19-line count is signature Hacksaw — concentrates win value rather than spreading it thin. All 19 lines always active. Pay left-to-right starting from reel 1. Lines combine with Mystery Reveal mechanic for the hybrid math model.

Paytable

Le Zeus's reference chart. Premium symbols: Diamond Prize (150x-500x via Mystery Reveal), Gold Coin (20x-100x), Lightning Bolt. Mid-tier: Silver Coin, Bronze Coin (0.2x-1x), Greek mythology imagery. Low-tier: Olive Wreath, Greek Vase. Special: Zeus Wild, Clover multipliers (x2-x20), Pot of Gold collector, Scatter (triggers bonus tiers).

Pot of Gold

Le Zeus's Mystery Reveal collector mechanic. When revealed via Mystery, the Pot of Gold sweeps every visible coin value, multiplier, and prize on the grid into a single combined payout. Can consolidate 15+ coin values into one massive payout — the path to the 20,000x cap during Gods bonus.

RNG (Random Number Generator)

Hacksaw Gaming uses BMM Testlabs-certified RNGs — independently audited for fairness. Each spin in Le Zeus is independent. Previous Mystery Reveal coin types, Lightning bolt drops, or scatter outcomes have zero influence on future spin outcomes.

RTP (Return to Player)

Le Zeus runs at 96.26% default — slightly above the 96% industry standard. Bonus Buy variants: Bolt & Run 96.24%, Myth-Taken 96.30%, Gods 96.28%. Operator-configurable lower versions: 94.18%, 92.37%, 86.27%. Always verify the game info screen before spinning — the spread between 96.30% and 86.27% is substantial.

Scatter

Le Zeus's scatter triggers the three bonus tiers. 3 scatters = Bolt & Run. 4 scatters = Myth-Taken Identity. 5 scatters = Gods Just Wanna Have Fun. Scatters can land anywhere on the 6x5 grid. The rare 5-scatter natural trigger (~1 in 6,500) is the only way to access Gods Just Wanna Have Fun without paying the 500x buy.

Session Variance

Le Zeus's medium/high (4/5) volatility produces meaningful session swings. A 200-spin session can return 20% to 350% of wagered amount. Without a bonus trigger, sessions tend to run 40-75% of theoretical RTP. With Myth-Taken or Gods bonus + Mystery compounding, single sessions can finish at 400%+ of wagered amount.

Sticky Mystery Symbols

Le Zeus's bonus round mechanic. During Bolt & Run and Gods bonuses, Mystery symbols stay on the grid for the entire round. Each spin adds new Mysteries that also lock. By round end, the grid can contain 15+ sticky Mysteries all converting to coin values simultaneously when the round resolves.

Sticky Wild

Le Zeus's standard Wild (Zeus) is NOT sticky. The "stickiness" mechanic during bonus rounds applies to Mystery symbols rather than wilds. Mystery symbols accumulate across spins during Bolt & Run and Gods bonuses, but wilds disappear after their spin completes. Different from sticky-wild slots like Wild Wild Bills.

Volatility (Variance)

Le Zeus is rated Medium/High (4/5). The ~26% hit frequency produces longer dry spells than Le Santa (3/5) but shorter than Le Bandit (5/5). The hybrid 19-paylines + Mystery Reveal model creates a unique variance shape — base game stays active via Mysteries while bonus rounds skew dramatically high-variance.

Ways to Win

An alternative to fixed paylines. Le Zeus uses 19 fixed paylines, not ways-to-win. The Mystery Reveal mechanic provides a layer of adjacency-based payouts on top of fixed lines, but the core math remains line-format. Different from cluster pays Le-series titles like Le Santa or Le Viking.

Wild

Le Zeus's Wild is the Zeus symbol. Substitutes for all paying symbols except scatters and Mystery symbols. Zeus wilds participate in payline wins; Mystery transformations during the same spin can compound payouts. Different from cluster pays Le-series Wild handling.

Win Distribution

Medium/High-volatility slots like Le Zeus are top-heavy. Gods Just Wanna Have Fun bonus ~30% of total RTP despite triggering rarely. Myth-Taken Identity ~25%. Bolt & Run ~22%. Base game line wins + Mystery Reveals ~20%. Cascade chain bonuses ~3%. Distribution skews dramatically toward bonus tiers.

Bonus Buy Restrictions

Some countries ban purchasing bonus rounds. UK prohibits since October 2021. Sweden caps bet sizes during buys. Ontario caps max bet at $5 CAD during buys. Le Zeus's three Bonus Buy tiers (80x/200x/500x) follow these restrictions. Myth-Taken at 96.30% RTP is the highest-RTP buy variant in the catalog.

Greek Mythology Symbol Hierarchy

Le Zeus's premium symbol order. Diamond Prize (top tier via Mystery Reveal at 150x-500x). Gold Coin (Mystery 20x-100x). Lightning Bolt (premium symbol). Mid-tier: Silver Coin, Bronze Coin, Harp, Olive Wreath. Low-tier: Greek Vase. Plus special Zeus Wild, Clover multipliers, Pot of Gold collector, Mystery, and Scatter. The premium tier pays roughly 5-10x more than mid tier.

6x5 Grid with 19 Paylines

Le Zeus's grid format. 6 reels × 5 rows = 30 cells. Pays through 19 fixed paylines plus Mystery Reveal mechanic. The 6x5 grid leaves more landing positions than Le Bandit's 5x5 — about 20% more chances per spin for Mysteries to make contact. Combined with the 19-line layout, density supports cascade chains across multiple sequential payouts.
